George Valentine was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in 2002. One of the biggest challenges he’s faced with his diagnosis has been the high out-of-pocket costs for medical treatments and medication. The PAN Foundation has been instrumental in providing him with the financial support needed to offset these costs. Before retiring in January 2019, George served in the information technology industry for over 40 years.
When not fighting my CLL, I spend my time advocating for access to affordable drugs for all people facing a cancer diagnosis. I joined the PAN Foundation’s Patient and Family Advisory Council to continue my advocacy efforts.
