Phyllis Bass has lived with rheumatoid arthritis since childhood, a journey that has led to a passion for patient advocacy and education. She works with newly diagnosed children and young adults to share her story and provide hope for them and their families. Previously, Phyllis enjoyed a long career in human resources as an analyst and manager. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, traveling, and gardening.
By serving as a member of the PAN Foundation’s Patient and Family Advisory Council, I hope to accomplish meaningful change in the lives of those who need it most. I want patients to be able to afford good health and to know how to comfortably navigate the complex healthcare system.
